Since 2020, Gazprom began supplying Turkmen gas to Uzbekistan: in 2020, total of 0.9 billion cubic meters were supplied, and in the first quarter of 2021 – the supply has reached 1.5 billion cubic meters. The increase in supply is due to the demand of the growing Uzbek economy.
