From August 1, the company will begin its activities, purchasing gas from local producers and importing it from abroad. UzGasTrade will also sell gas to consumers and export, becoming a single exporter, and Uztransgaz will become the only operator of the main gas transmission system. The company will be formed through subsidies from the state budget, and its activities will be regulated by the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission.
